Caleb Omondi, originally from Rongo, located in Western Kenya spent a few years in the U.S.A. He decided to settle back home and regenerate his community. Caleb took his PDC in 2012 on Rusinga Island with PRI- Kenya trained by Lesley Byrne. He later took the Training of Trainers (ToT) Course with Warren Bruh in 2014 and subsequently the Advanced Consultancy Course with Warren Brush in 2015. Caleb’s also has an Advanced training in Vetiver Systems, Earth Works and Rain Water Harvesting with Elizabeth Pinners.
Caleb founded Sustainable Village Resources (SVR) in 2013 which is located at Rongo in Migori county. SVR partnered with PRI- Kenya to implement an organic coffee project in Rongo between 2014-17. Caleb is managing a food forest in a one acres piece of land. He has been involved in Permaculture Extension work and Vetiver Technology training for the past 4 years.
