Caleb Omolo

Sustainable Village Resources Programme Founder

Originally from Rongo, located in Western Kenya spent a few years in the U.S.A. He decided to settle back home and regenerate his community. Caleb took his PDC in 2012 on Rusinga Island with PRI- Kenya trained by Lesley Byrne. He later took the Training of Trainers Course with Warren Brash in 2014 and subsequently the Advanced Consultancy Course with Warren Brush in 2015. Caleb’s also has an Advanced training in Vetiver Systems, Earth Works and Rain Water Harvesting with Elizabeth Pinners.
Caleb joined PRI Kenya’s project team in 2014 after founding Sustainable Village Resources (SVR) in 2011 which is located at Rongo in Migori County. SVR has partnered up with PRI-Kenya to implement an organic coffee project in Rongo with the support of Biovision Foundation. Caleb is managing a food forest in a one acres piece of land. He has been involved in Permaculture Extension work and Vetiver Technology training for the past 4 years.

Caleb has done been involved in several consultancies both in Kenya and outside of Kenya including Rwanda and Uganda and now currently engaged in permaculture consultancy work with a group called “Karambi Group of People Living With Disabilities”.
