Rose is a trained office administrator with Diploma in Business Administration and full secretarial training from Temple College Nairobi. Currently, she works at Wells Fargo Ltd. Since she joined the company in September 2011, she has offered her services voluntarily to the Permaculture Institute for the last 5 years and ensuring that all employees of Fargo get an introductory course to Permaculture when they join the organisations. She has keen interest in farming and has a 2 acre farm in Meru which she intends to cultivate and make it organic once she has taken her PDC.
Previously, she worked as PA to the author of CDF Act and has vast knowledge and experience as to what the common man needs to be food sufficient without relying on handouts or relief food when the rains fail. She also worked at the Association of Kenya Insurers as the Executive Secretary.
At the community level, she is a trained children’s matron at the St. Teresa Parish, Eastleigh and has been for the 12 years. She coordinates the activities of Friends of Cancer group which she started 3 years ago and has keen interest in helping kids abandon due to cancer.
